About Conference

The 1st Bali International Conference on Social and Political Science

" The Future of Social and Political Science in a Network Society for Sustainability "

Social and political science are important fields of study because they help us understand societies' and politics’ complexities. They help us understand how our society works and how various factors such as economics, social structure, culture, and history influence it. Furthermore, these fields of study help us understand our political choices and how they affect our lives. Understanding social and political science also allows us to make more informed decisions when voting, making policy, and participating in the political process. Finally, understanding social and political science is useful for anyone who wants to make informed decisions and understand how our society works.

The future of social and political science in a networked society for long-term sustainability is an exciting and vital topic. Social and political scientists will be able to use the internet to explore and understand the complex and interconnected social, economic, and political systems that exist in a globalized world in a "network society." We can use the internet to access data, analyze trends, and develop innovative solutions to today’s challenges. The primary question that must be addressed is how we can use the internet to build more sustainable social and political systems. We must consider how digital technologies can empower citizens and governments to be more efficient, transparent, and equitable. Furthermore, we must explore how technology can be used to promote collaboration, collective action, and shared understanding among citizens and governments. Finally, the future of social and political science in a network society for sustainability is a fascinating area of study and investigation. We must harness the power of the internet to build more equitable and sustainable societies and ensure that our global societies are better prepared to face future challenges.

The 1st Bali International Conference on Social and Political Science (BICoSP) aims for in- depth discussions on the social and political issues and challenges and the future of them from a theoretical perspective, collects scientists and practitioners to share ideas and opinions, and provides a comprehensive analysis of the future of social and political science to uncover the complex relationship between individuals and larger social and political systems that can help us identify ways to create a more efficient network for sustainability.

Faculty of Social and Political Sciences, Universitas Udayana, Bali, aims to develop insight into the study of Social and Political Sciences as a momentum to share the development of study results from various disciplines, professional expertise, as well as from perspectives with different backgrounds.
